About Me
Biography
Kiley Clements is a sophomore at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is majoring in Marketing at the Robert H. Smith School of Business and Studio Art and aims to complete a concentration in Graphic Design.

She is originally from Severna Park, Maryland, where she grew up with her parents, her brother and sister, and a myriad of family pets. She always had an interest in the arts as a child, and this passion bloomed well into her teen years, as she spent most of her time drawing, painting, singing, and performing in shows. In high school, she participated greatly in her school’s theatre program, being featured in over ten productions over the years. All the while, she kept her love for illustration and drawing, and even designed some logos and posters for various projects.
While engaging in the arts, she also enjoyed participating in her school’s many business-oriented activities and classes. She graduated Severna Park High School having completed both curriculums for the Signature Program (Business, Innovation, and Leadership) and the Leadership Institute. She also was a part of her school’s DECA chapter, where she won 1st place in Retail Merchandising at the regional level, and 1st in Professional Selling at states in 2019. These wins allowed her to compete in DECA’s International Conference in Orlando, Florida. These experiences helped Kiley develop a passion for public speaking and persuasion, which she attributes to her decision to major in Marketing at the Robert H. Smith School.

At the University of Maryland and through College Park Scholars, Kiley hopes she can continue to develop lifelong skills that she needs to thrive in the working world. After graduating, she would like to work in the entertainment industry, where she can take charge in marketing departments and come up with creative ways to grab the public’s attention. Within the marketing realm of the arts, Kiley hopes to blend her love of illustration and performance with her nuance in business, creating a perfect amalgamation of all things Kiley is passionate about.

Through the University of Maryland, the Robert H. Smith School of Business, and College Park Scholars, Kiley knows her dreams are not too far on the horizon.
